Food, Inc - "The Supermarket Veil" Reflection

Think about what you saw in today's videos (There were two chapters today!).  Write a reflection about how foods are now engineered and how things should be labeled. In your reflection, you touch upon some of the following ideas:

• What might be the consequences—both positive and negative—of the company owning the genetic information in the seed? 
• How does this situation compare to downloading music from “free” sites?
• Seed cleaning is a tradition among farmers.  Think of a tradition that has been in your family for a long time. What if you could no longer have this tradition because someone now legally claims it as theirs? 
• What might be more effective than warning labels for food? 
• People who have been in the industry are knowledgeable about that industry. What are the pros and cons of them becoming regulators working for the government?
